Had an amazing New Year stay in a traditional inn. the view from the room was spectacular, overlooking the river and surrounded by nature. the onsen was definitely the highlight, with both indoor and outdoor options available. the meals were delicious, and the traditional Japanese dishes added an extra touch of authenticity to the experience. Plus, the staff were very accommodating and welcoming.
The location was a bit isolated, which made it difficult to get around without a car. There weren't many nearby attractions to visit, so it was important to plan ahead and bring everything needed for a relaxing getaway.

The countryside view was breathtaking and it was a great escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Our hosts were really accommodating and friendly. We really liked how clean and cozy the room was, it was exactly what we were looking for in a traditional Japanese stay. The dinner and breakfast we had were mouth-watering and truly authentic. The outdoor bath was a one-of-a-kind experience and we really enjoyed the serene and peaceful nature surrounding it.
The location was not ideal for us. Getting around was quite inconvenient and the lack of public transportation options made it hard for us to explore the nearby attractions.

I had a fantastic stay at this traditional ryokan. The hosts were very welcoming, offering pick up from the end of my hike and drop off to a nearby train station. The room was clean and peaceful, with a beautiful view of the Chikuma river. The traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast were delicious. The best aspects were the cleanliness, hotel facilities, transportation, and the location near a station.
